TriGator Volunteers

Volunteers help make the TriGator For Kids triathlon race possible for the athletes to compete in a fun, safe, and organized way. As with last year, we anticipate needing about 200 volunteers to make this happen.

Why Volunteer?

You’ll receive the appreciation of the racers, a TriGator T shirt, and be fed at the after-race party, but most of all, you’ll be an integral part of the event. Some volunteer because they’re interested in triathlon racing and want to check it out up close; some are racers who want to promote the sport; some are friends or family of racers who want to be a part of the festivities and share in the fun.

Are you a Club or School Group Looking to Raise Money?

If you are involved with a club or school group, TriGator for Kids will donate money in return for volunteer hours. For more information, contact Kim Fabian

Race volunteers do a wide variety of things, including but not limited to:

•    Communicate athlete location and status to race HQ
•    Ensure racers have all necessary mandatory safety gear (helmet, etc.)
•    Direct athletes on the course
•    Assist with post-race food
•    Hand out race kits

What if I don’t know anyone?

Race volunteers are amongst the warmest and friendliest people you’re likely to encounter. Whether by yourself, or with a friend, you’ll meet some great new people!
